MT Tape: 101 Ideas

We’ve spoken of our love for Washi Tape before but if you’re not totally convinced we’ve put together some (ok, so not quite 101 like the title suggests…) ideas  of how you can use MT Tape.  It’s bright, sticky and super versatile – what’s not to love?

The list is endless when it comes to decorating a glass jar with MT Tape, horizontal stripes, vertical stripes, diagonal or just a big old miss mash of colour.

And if you don’t fancy using tape on your jar, use it to decorate party cutlery, just wrap and go!

You know those tea lights you’ve had in your cupboard for 3 years? Well nows the time to get them out so you can decorate them. Voila! Boring tea lights, be gone!

Wanna blow your friend’s mind with your truly awesome gift wrap?  Just use a couple strips of tape to add some jazz to your gift!

Who doesn’t love a little bit of bunting? Create your own with the help of this tutorial.

Don’t let your invitations have all the fun – decorate your envelopes too! Add a little bit of tape to seal and you’ve got yourself one slick envelope.

If you’ve used MT Tape in a project, we’d love to see!

DIY: Washi Tape Bunting

We ♡ MT Tape here at Peach Blossom.  If you don’t know what it is, it’s kinda like masking tape but *much* prettier and you can use it for so many things because it comes in lots of patterns and is easy peasy to tear.  You can see all our tapes here.  If you’re looking for a fun idea for using your tape then look no further than this DIY for bunting.

Tear off pieces of tape and fold it over the twine.  I’ve used our glitter twine but you can use any colour you fancy.  Leave a bit of space between each piece but don’t worry about being accurate, uneven spacing just adds to the charm :)

Next you want to snip the tape pieces to neaten them up.  Cut the tape any way you like, you could cut it straight across or diagonally.  Here I’ve cut little triangle shapes in to tape to get a flag like effect.

Keep going until you have the length of bunting you’re after and that’s it, easy or what?
