What I love about parties and weddings is that you can make them so personal to you and your loved ones. I like to think that there are no ‘rules’ when it comes to throwing a bash and anything goes, as long as it results in fun, love and happiness (that might sound corny but why else do we have celebrations?). Anyway, today’s post brings you a Blue Ombre Surf Birthday (how often do you see a theme like that?!), created and photographed by Ashley Rose for her son’s 1st birthday. She wanted to bring together her husband’s love of surfing with a fun ombre element and the perfect party was born! I love that she used so many shades of blue and painted waves on the tables – simple but super effective!
