Fiesta Mexicana

This Mexican themed birthday party created by Li-Ann of Ham & Pea Design & Paperie is truly extraordinary! The theme, details, colours and patterns are so vibrant and exciting and any party with a taco stall is a hit in my opinion!

Li-Ann put this party together for her twin boys’ 2nd birthday and chose the Mexican theme for the country’s bright colours and vibrant energy. The party and all its details were beautifully captured by Lee Bird.

I love how Li-Ann has put flowers in open limes, it’s such a quirky idea! The stationery is also one my favourite parts as the aztec details are so intricate and work perfectly with the theme. I think this styling could work at a wedding as the theme is so bright. What do you think? Would you use this theme for your next party?

PopUp Shop Richmond

So as you might have heard, Peach Blossom was chosen to take part in a PopUp Shop in Richmond, Surrey. Organised by StartUp Britain as a way to get online businesses on the high street, the scheme runs for a couple of months with a rotation of 6 new businesses every 2 weeks. We set up shop on Monday 6 August alongside 6 amazing businesses who we were to share the shop space with for 2 weeks.  The other businesses were made up of Tess Blenkinsop and Zarafa Designs who create stunning jewellery collections, stylish bikinis from Bikini Fling, quirky teas from Bluebird Tea Co., Little Babas and their super cute children’s animal costumes and London Mummy‘s collection of stylish gifts for babies and children.

One week in and it’s been a fab experience! We’ve met so many lovely people, got so much great feedback and learnt so much too! Who knew selling on the high street would be so different to online?  Here are some photos of the shop but if you’re in Richmond before Sunday 19th August come take a look for yourself – we’re opposite Richmond train station!

Acceptable in the 80s

If you love a bit of nostalgia then you’re probably going to love the party in today’s post.  This 80s themed party is a fabulous flashback to the decade that brought us the Mario Bros, clashing neon fashion and the first music videos. I can’t even imagine where party organiser Alanna bought half this stuff but it certainly brings back fun memories.  Cassette tapes, VHS tapes, Rubix cubes and Trolls are not items you would expect to see in a party but they are all essential in creating this super cool 80s party,
